Celebrate your next special event in our richly appointed contemporary atmosphere. The main entrance brings you through our attractive lobby with cathedral ceiling and skylight. This room is included with the Banquet Room at no extra charge for all weekend socials.

Our Banquet Room can accommodate up to 100 people. Included with the rental is the use of our complete kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator. Tables and padded chairs are also provided. Renters may make use of the flagstone patio seen through a sunny wall of windows and accessed from the Banquet Room.

Our Conference Room can accommodate up to 30 people. The space includes a ten foot conference table and a wall-mounted blackboard. Additional tables and chairs are available.

Directions to The Hawthorn Center

From D.C.: North on US Rt. 29 to Exit 18B, Broken Land Parkway West. Move over to left lane immediately. Turn left at Hickory Ridge Road (traffic light). Drive one mile; turn left at Sunny Spring. 1½ blocks on left.

From Baltimore: South on US Rt. 29 to Exit 18, Broken Land Parkway West. Turn left at traffic light at end of exit ramp. Turn left at next traffic light, Hickory Ridge Road. Drive one mile; turn left at Sunny Spring. 1½ blocks on left.

From MD Route 32: Exit 17, turn north onto Cedar Lane. At third light (Owen Brown Road) turn right. Take first left turn (Sunny Spring). ⅔ mile on right.

From I-95: Take MD Route 32 west (Exit 38). Follow directions as above.
